12:54am: *sigh* Well looks like LJ is going to the dogs and fast. I now have as insane journal and a greatest journal Same id on both of them(big surprise there) Haven't posted on either of them yet and still deciding what to do, as I haven't been a big member of any fandom for a while, but it's best to be prepared.

Well a troll has invaded one of the communities I'm on.And made three spam posts of uncut images in macros, of erotica and porn(some of the porn ones border on obscene) So I actually go to file an abuse report, because hey this is an actual issue for them to deal with. And what happens? I keep getting an "invalid submission refresh and try again"

*rips hair out* ARGH!!!!!

5:35am: And it's Strikethrough v2.0 On the plus side it seems much smaller scale(at least in the number of people suspended) Fandom's reaction is looking to be just as fierce as the first(also a good thing)

I'm kinda hoping against hope that maybe the lj-abuse member who made the suspension call wasn't thinking straight and made mistakes. And that LJ will decide to finally clarify what is and isn't acceptable content based on something concrete and rational, like drawn erotic art/fiction = ok confessions and discussion of real abuse(outside of victims getting support), photo of real children being abuse = NOT OK!

Ok anyone who enjoys the action Kung Fu comedies like Shoalin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle need to rent Kung Fu Mahjong. It has the same actors who played the landlord and landlady in Kung Fu Hustle, and an awesome parody of the Kill Bill fights(well one of them) It's awesome, and cheesy and so much fun!

In other news I found out when FF12: Revenant Wings is coming to the US. Nov 20th. *happy fangirl dance*

3:12am: Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally beat Digital Devil Saga. Heehee I got to kick God's butt. Ending = worth it. Quite happy now. And onto the next game.

3:56am: Today was fun!
I was awaken via a call from my mother to inform me that as July 18th I have three new cousins. Anna-Marie, Aimee-Ruth and Ashley-Faith. Things will be interesting when I go up for Christmas this year(and crowded)

Then I met up with Blue for a mall crawl, HP movie and then book release.

I also took my dolls along to show Blue and then carried them with me as I have a thing that if they dolls aren't at home then they stay with me. First stop was lunch and then Build-A-Bear Workshop as sometimes they have clothes that fit my doll. One of the employees was curious and I ended up giving her the websites of several doll companies and forums. She was also nice enough to let me try the clothes on my doll to check the fit before I bought them.

Then we went to see Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix. Ahh CAPSLOCK OF RAGE!Harry. I really did like the movie but boy did they cut out a lot. And that's all I'm gonna say.

Then we hurried to Macy's before they closed as they had a generic version of the Magic Bullet blender on sale that I wanted to buy. Got it just in time and today shall be blender fun time. ^_^

Quick stop at Starbucks for coffee and then off to Barnes and Noble for the release party. It was really cool and I wish I could have checked out more stuff, and that I had brought my camera along. They had a Potions demonstration taking place in the cafe, Care of Enchanted Creatures(owls, with the cutest little screech owl EVER!), Divinations and lots of activities. I shall now be considered blasphemous as I wasn't there to buy Harry Potter, but just to hang out. I did end up buying some manga and having my fortune told by Nikki. I was also very very very tempted by the Transformers Monopoly set they had for sale, but felt I had already spent too much money. Shortly after the boxes were open and the book went on sale Blue started feeling claustrophobic from all the people and so we ended up leaving and instead she picked up the book at a local Wal-mart which wasn't nearly as crowded or with as long a line(but not nearly as much fun as BN)

Well I guess I'm off and I'll see all of you when you emerge from your HP-DH induced isolation. See ya then.

2:18am: I really need to get back in the habit of posting here, but just a couple quick things.

I've put in for the days off I need for Renfest. I'll be going Oct, 13th(1001 dreams, need fairy costume) Oct 20th(Pirates!) and then on Black Friday Nov, 23rd.

Friday is a Bad Movies and Booze night, for those attending, I need to know if there's any snack or drink preferences let me know. I have popcorn and thinking of picking up veggies and dip, chips, and maybe some fruit(strawberries?)

2:36am: YAY! I am now a drooling mass of geeky fangirl glee after a late night showing of Transformers. And OMG they turned Bumblebee(my fave) from a cute lovable bug into a hot bad-ass camaro, but he's still impossibly sweet. And the voices, ,and the battles and Optimus Prime! Yes yes YES!! Want More! want more NOW!!!

Sorry no coherent thoughts here, still drooling! Movie so pretty. So awesome.

11:18pm: Wow, so much to chat about.

Friday. After my shopping and make-up fun I went over to Nat's for swimming, burgers and sleep-over. And found out that the eye make-up is nye indestructable. I got dunked in the water and the make-up did not move or smudge. I managed to pass out early for me at midnight, thanks to a brilliant plan of sleep deprivation, physical exertion and booze. The reason why I needed this was for Saturday.

Saturday. Got up early and Natalie and I went off to the Houston Zoo for a dollie meet-up set for 10:30am(whimper) I took a ton of pictures and it was a lot of fun meeting everyone and seeing all the dolls. I'm also very happy to say the eye make-up survived Houston humidity and rainstorm. Crazy.

Not much else beyond work and work is boring.

This Saturday I will be marching with Chase again in the Pride Parade, thinking about hitting the festival proper before hand if only to have an easier time finding parking. Anyone free and want to hang out before the parade?

4:22pm: So I went shopping today(hey it's payday what else are you gonna do) and stopped in at Sephora to check out the bareminerals make-up. Feels nice so far, we'll see how it is in a few hours.

I also let the guy talk me into trying some eye make-up and I let him go to town with blue. OMG is looks so awesome

3:50am: Hmm some good old batshit insanity
At work today I had a batshit insane caller as my first call of the day. Wheee

The call came in it was actually a regular serviceline(balance, transactions etc. . .) rather then online it happens sometimes. I knew right away this caller was special as she opened with a near inchoerent rant about withdrawals, 400$ and we were stealing from her. Oh yeah, fun times ahead. I started going over the transactions during which she would interupt me with "They said I wit'dru 400 dolla' I din't wit'draw no 400 dolla' you stealin' from me" "I'm poor and I need muh munah to buy mah insulin" and my fave "I'm gonna be a big lawwah to sue all ya. My family has big lawwah. I'm gonna git jhonny Cochrin and sue you down to the last brick" Sure lady I'm quaking and fearing for my job here. I calmly told her that I could only go over the transactions I saw listed with her, if she wanted to dispute any of the charges and withdrawals she'd have to speak with our disputes area. Ended up repeating that a couple of times as she would continue going off into her rants, but finally got her transfered over.

Mmmm, sometimes it's annoying that I can't put in disputes for customers anymore, but in this case it was nice that I could pass the batshit on to some-one else.

11:30pm: I'll have to say today was about half and half.
So I WAS supposed to take my cats to the vet today. However I was simply going to drop them off in the morning and then spend the day visiting family. The problem lies that when I made the appointment they forgot to tell me that dropoff was between 7:30 and 10am. I got there at noon. D'OH! So I ended up traumatizing my cats for nothing, and on the way home, Carrie got loose from her carrier and so started wandering around inside the car. ACK! I managed to get her back into the carrier at a traffic light, which was lucky.

So once my cats were home I headed back out to my parents to visit. Now for some reason, that day I felt being cute, so I was wearing a white skirt, burgundy tank-top, and very cute shoes. Talking with Debbie, we decided my cute shoes demanded a pedicure. So off we went to the mall for pedicures and hairdye as Debbie desires to add purple streaks to her hair. We ended up having to wait a long time at the nailplace as there were three people in line ahead of us and only one person working. Ewwww. Afterwards, picked up some toe/pinkie rings and headed back to my parents house to hang out for a bit. And watching some of the Mythbusters Pirates Special. Which was most excellent.

8:50pm: *blinks* well this is a first.
I've been summoned for Jury Duty, for June 25th. Fortunately I don't have to arrive until 12:15pm so it won't fuck my sleep schedule. Just need to tell my manager when I see her Sunday to we can have the time off listed in my schedule.

4:43pm: So much stuff to babble about.
Well I guess first I should comment on the great Strikethrough2007 that took over LJ the past through days. Livejournal and Six Apart were total idiots about WfI complaints and threats(especially when you considering some of the journals had numerous complaints sent to them by lj users for months or years) Witnessing the power of Fandom uniting in one voice was awesome. Fandom_counts current has over 31000 members. And althrough it was hard to find there was a lot of brilliant and awesome snark. Enough that I became brave and formed a community dedicated to gathering the best comments, icons, and macros together at strikethrough_7

As for normal life, not much going on. Sent off textbooks for bookbuyback, bought some new videogames including Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. And some new clothes for my dollies, yeah I am so mature. But the clothes are so cute on my girl even if I want to get a different wig for her.

Hmm. Spamalot is in theaters. I'ld like to go either Friday the 15th or Saturday the 16th(evening show so I have a good excuse to wear my pretty dress ^_^) The cheapseats are 27.25 (plus tax I assume) each, so if anyone in Houston is also interested in going, let me know and I can order the tickets all at once.

Pirates opens this week!!!!! I'm working till 11pm Thursday when it opens, but does anyone want to go see it with me Friday or Saturday?

1:26am: To the Asshat who called today and wasted 30 minutes of my time

No, I will not violate our security protocols for you. And no I don't care that you're in the military and your account information is boxed up in a crate being shopped to your new post in HI. Maybe you should considering carrying such important information with you when you move. I only needed three things from you, your name, your SSN and your account number. That's all. With that I could have updated your contact information, hell I could have given you the activation code you needed to login and pay your mortgage. But because you didn't have that simple piece of information, I couldn't. Bitching at me and calling me "useless" and demanding that I fix it for you because you're in the military and " Your bank says they give special consideration to the military" That "special consideration" doesn't include foregoing security requirements. As this is your mortgage, and your payments, and your credit rating that will be negatively effected by the lack of payment I'll say the onus is on you to have the information we need to serve you, or keep your contact information updated, rather then on me to jump through impossible hoops to make you happy.

12:05pm: Went out to visit my parents today. It's was a pretty good visit. Introduced them to my new insane hobby of bjd's. They were a bit sticker shocked at the price but even my father thought my two were kinda neat. One good thing is my dad noticed that I've been losing weight and slimmed down in the hips. ALthough that was countered by my mom giving me a swimsuit a size too big to go swimming in. Yeah that was fun.

We did talk about all the upcoming movies for this summer. This will a most excellent summer for movies. I think I need a movie buddy.

2:00am: Been meaning to post for a while but keep getting distracted(and lazy) School semester is over, I got a B for my Drawing for graphics class, so it'll help my GPA, and hopefully I didn't completely die in my art history class, plus I have some new items for my portfolio and now to spend the summer reworking stuff. If there's any interest at all I'll try to post stuff to deviantart and here.

Also starting next week I'm back to my Friday, Saturday off schedule so if anyone's up for a bad movie and booze night the 18th would be a good night. I currently have Kekko Kamen and Bad Taste from blockbuster online.

6:56pm: I have recently learned there is a chocolate flavored vodka.

Currently this wonder is not in my possession.

Clearly this must be remedied quickly.

2:48am: Block Review
Well I went in to take down my stuff and see the results of my review

Design/sketchbook process: Acceptable
Attendance: Acceptable:
Deadlines: Acceptable
GPA: Unacceptable

I was not accepted into the Block Program and am supposed to talk with my current design instructor for further feedback.

So right now the plan is to bring my gpa up, possibly taking a water color or silkscreen, or printmaking class(either of the later would also give me items to bring into my portfolio) and try again) As I also still have on core( writing intensive social studies) class I need to take, and want to take two more art history courses to end with an art history minor I think I can do it. Apparently while you can apply for Block in either fall or spring semester you can only start in the fall. So I may do one studio art and extra art history in the fall 2007 bring my gpa up(hopefully) the then do the core and extra art history in spring 2008 and apply then. And pray as you are only allowed to go up for block twice. SO I have to get in next time or else transfer to a different school or pick a different major(and quite frankly I'm too invested in the art stuff to go into anything but art or art education which I'm too anti-social for)

After I got the results I joined several of the other graphic students and So's for sushi and booze. SIL Debbie came along as my designated driver. The place we went to was Ra's sushi grill and bar. Overly trendy but at least the booze wasn't watered down in the slightest as I found out with their Screaming Ninja shot. Tasted like mouthwash but very very effective on an empty stomach. The Sea Monkey Martini was very good as well and there was one more drink I can't remember the name of. Afterwards we left due to Debbie noticing the SO of one my classmates spending too much time talking when he his girlfriend wanted to leave. It was still pretty early so we went looking for a bar so I could have more booze. Found one where I had a nice rum and coke and a tequila slammer and we spent a great deal of time bitching about my mom. The we went to House of Pies because we were in the area and Debbie loves their strawberry/rhubarb pie(and after dealing with my drunkenness she deserved it)

I'm now in my post drinking crunching ice/drinking water stage of the evening preparing to go to bed. thankfully I took the day off work tomorrow/today knowing I'd either be too happy or too disappointed to be of any use and lord knows I have the vacation time.

11:30pm: Tomorrow is Block review and open invite
I went out to U of H to put my stuff up for Block review, and met up with some of the others. We're all excited and scared as there's 42 people going up for 12 spots in Block(god U of H needs a bigger graphics department) And I was invited to join a couple of the others for sushi and booze tomorrow night after the review ends at 7pm. Seeing as how at 7pm tomorrow I'm either going to be really really happy or really really depressed and in need of booze I accepted. And found myself in need of a designated driver. I invited Debbie, and she's working on it, but it depends on several things falling into place( when Larry gets home and when the kids she babysits for get picked up) If anyone else is free and interested in joining me the plan is to meet at my place between 6 and 6:30 and head out in my car to U of H, pick up my stuff and meet the others. Call me if you're interested and can go.

E.T.A. Because of the short notice and stuff I will be covering dinner for my D.D.

And now I must clean up the paper tornado that's hit my place the past two weeks.

9:50pm: Random entry
Someday I want to load up my car or rent an RV with friends and just go on a trip across the country. No real destination just driving and 10 million detours to whatever catches our eyes. I've been wanting this for years, but figure it'll never happen due to funding issues and other obligations.
